Yes, MH refers to Maharashtra and therefore the exams are conducted there only.

MHCET 2018 Eligibility:
All aspirants who have passed / appeared in the qualifying examination I. e. HSC/12th Standard examination or its equivalent examination and having Indian Nationality are eligible for appearing for MHTCET. There is no age limit for admission and appearing to MHTCET. Sorry to say but 50% is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission in any engineering colleges. So, you can't take admission with this marks. I suggest you to appear in improvement exam to improve your marks.

ILS-Pune, since introduction of MHTCET accepts only MHTCET. It does conduct its own entrance exam. It does not accept class 10th and class 12th marks, as sole basis for admission any more.
