In order to secure an admission in Mississippi College, all overseas applicants require competitive grades, relevant documents and English proficiency exam scores. MC accepts all major English exam scores like (IELTS/TOEFL/PTE/) and mentioned below are the entry requirements from graduates:

• Must meet all general requirements for admission to the graduate school of Mississippi College
• Must hold a bachelor’s degree in one of the Healthcare Sciences from an accredited college or university, or hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of one year of experience in the healthcare field
• Must hold an undergraduate GPA of 2.50
• Must show credit (C or higher) for Accounting Principles as a prerequisite for HSA 6507 - Healthcare Financial Management or take HSA 6590 Basic Healthcare Financial Management or ACC 201 or ACC 203 in the first semester of enrollment
• Must show proof (C or higher) of an undergraduate American history class or take PLS 201 American National Government in first semester of enrollment as a prerequisite for HSA 6540, HSA 6561, and HSA 6550

• A fully completed admission undergraduate application by the application deadline.
• Language Requirements
• A current bank statement from parents or sponsor (The statement must indicate ability to finance study during one year at Mississippi College)
• Transcripts (Transcripts of all high school and college grades with literal translations into English are required. At the discretion of Mississippi College, a student may be required, at his or her expense, to provide a course-by-course evaluation from a trusted evaluation service selected by Mississippi College)
• High school diploma
• Medical History (Questions about medical history should be answered in the application. )
• Aptitude Test scores (ACT, SAT or CLT)

Mississippi College’s Intensive English Program is very helpful in preparing international students for academic course work toward an undergraduate or graduate degree. The Intensive English Program at Mississippi College helps students improve their Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking, Vocabulary, Grammar and Pronunciation in the language. Apart from this, Intensive English Program students take various trips off campus to fully experience their local surroundings as well as major surrounding cities. This programme is also very inclusive as students get to celebrate a variety of festivals and enjoy cultures which are followed by the international students studying at Mississippi College.

Yes, Mississippi College does offer transfer courses. Students are offered transfer courses in various programs like Business, Arts, Communication, Music, Psychology, Nursing, Kinesiology, Biology, Mathematics and more.

The grades earned on transfer work from another college or university will be reflected on the permanent record at Mississippi College, but they will not be used in calculating the overall GPA. Mississippi College considers the following in transferring credit: 

• Course credit is earned at colleges or universities with regional accreditation;
• Courses taken at other accredited institutions are comparable to those offered at Mississippi College as determined by the Mississippi College Registrar;
• The student has earned a grade of C or higher;
• Students may transfer in up to 65 hours from a community college and could transfer additional hours if coursework is from a 4-year university; and
• The last 33 hours must be taken at Mississippi College.
