MIT DAT (Design Aptitude Test) is an entrance test conducted by the MIT Institute of Design (Pune), MIT University of Design Alandi Pune, Avantika University (Ujjain), and MIT University Meghalaya for admission Design Programmes. The MIT DAT test conducted primarily to evaluate and shortlist eligible candidates aspiring to pursue Undergraduate (B. Des), Post Graduate programme (MDes) at flagship institutes under the umbrella of MIT Group of Institutes Pune providing quality education in the field of design.

MIT Institute of Design courses in Postgraduate, Undergraduate and Diploma level. BDes, MDes  and PG Diploma are tehe courses offered in the Institute. BDes and MDes are the two flagship programme of MIT Institute of Design. PG Diploma programme specialisation includes Automative Clay & Digital sclupting and Innovation. MIT DAT ( Design Aptitude Test) is required for the flagship courses followed by studio test and personal interview.

The MIT Institute of Design has released the salary details on its official website. However, the year of placement is not mentioned. Considering the data for 2022, it was observed that the highest package grabbed by MIT Institute of Design students was INR 27 LPA, whereas, ISDI students grabbed the highest package of INR 1.20 LPA. Focus on your academics and try to maintain a good CGPA in intitial years so that you have to worry less in the upcoming years. Don't be introvert in college, try to meet as many people in the people as you can, just go and talk, if the vibe matches, make him/her your friend and talk continuously and repititively. Join atleast 2 clubs to increase your connections with your batchmates as well as seniors. The facilities offered by MIT Institute of Design are as follows: Computer Lab, Hostel Rooms, Medical Facilities, Auditorium, Gym, Cafetaria, Design Studio, Sports Complex and a vast library. The major plus points are good hostel and computer lab. You will end up a lot in sports ground especially in the Cricket Ground, Volleyball Court, Table tennis court. Hostels have very good Wi-Fi, mess, laundary and gym facility with very fine service. Other facilities are: Seminar room, advanced photocopying room, incubation center, clay cutting center etc.
