MIT Institute in Design does not provide direct admisison to their flagship courses. The candidates are required to appear for the MIT DAT (Design Aptitude Test), an entrance test conducted by the MIT Institute of Design (Pune), MIT University of Design Alandi Pune, Avantika University (Ujjain), and MIT University Meghalaya for admission Design Programmes. Once the candidates qualifies the test they are called for the studio test and personal interview.

Twinning Programme is a special programme that allows students to pursue their studies in two University in two different countries. MIT Institute od Design provides twinning programme in collaboration with their international partner Universities like U.S.A, UK etc. Students are given with opportunity to study with MIT ID for the initial few semesters and then hand over to the partner University to complete their course and earn an International degree.

Yes, MIT Institute of Design does offer a doctoral level programme i.e. PhD in Design under MIT-WPU’s School of Design. PhD In Design covers a minimum duration of three years. The eligibity criteria is three year bachelor’s degree programme or qualifications declared equivalent to the master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate. The slection process involve entrance test conducted by MITWPU. Candidates who fulfills the eligibilty criterion  is qualified for the etrance test.

Yes, Diploma is available in MIT Institute of Design Pune. The Institute offers PG Diploma specialisation in Automative Clay & Digital Sclupting and Innovation. PG Diploma in Innovation is a 12 months duration course and Automative Clay & Digital Sclupting is a 24 months duration course. The fee for PG Diploma is around INR 4.90 Lacs (Tuition fee) as per the fee released by the Institution for the year 2023. Also the eligbility criteria is Bachelor’s degree in any field (work experience if applicable) and MIT ID skill test, portfolio & interview are required for the selection process.

MDes is the Postdergrauate level flagship programme offered by the MIT Institute of Design. MDes is offered in various specialisation. MDes admission process includes university level entrance exam i.e. MIT DAT (Design Aptitute test). First step is to complete the eligble criteria (Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Design, Interior Design) next filling the application form of MIT DAT and scoring a minimum required score in the test. And finally appearing for the Studio test and the personal interview, which finalises the selection process of the course.
