Yes, the important dates for MITID DAT 2024 are out. The application form is now closed. The last date to apply for MITID DAT 2024 was March 10, 2024. Meanwhile, the exam was conducted on April 7, 2024. The results of the MITID DAT 2024 exam were declared on April 22, 2024. To check their results, the candidate needs to login to the portal using their candidate details. 

The candidate is urged to closely follow the important dates, as the exam conducting body in some cases changes pre-announced dates due to various reasons.

The application form for MITID DAT 2025 is currently OPEN.

The last date to fill out the MITID DAT 2025 application form is February 28, 2025.

Candidates have to fill the application form in online mode. When filling out the application form, one has to use genuine and verifiable information. At the time of MITID DAT 2025 counseling, information furnished in the application form will be matched with the original documents. In case of any discrepancy, the candidate may be disqualified.

The MITID DAT 2025 application fee for Indian application is INR 3000. However, candidates belonging to NRI, CIO, PIO, and Foreign national categories need to pay INR 4500.

The candidate has to pay the fee at the time of filling out the application form. Without the fee payment, the application process will be deemed incomplete.

The MITID DAT 2025 application form is open in online mode. Applications submitted in offline mode will not be accepted. As part of the application process, the candidate will have to get registered, fill in all the details, upload documents, and pay the application fee.

Candidates who missed this edtion of the exam may apply in the next edition, provided they meet the eligibility criteria. 

The Studio Test and Personal Interview for the M.Des programs was conducted from May 14-18, 2024. Candidates who have quaified in the written exams are eigible to appear in the Studio Test. 

The detailed shedule for the Studio Test and Interview is released on the admission portal of MIT Institute of Design. The candidate had to attend the exam as per the schedule and slot mentioned in the admit card.

The MITID 2024 final merit list for the B.Des program was released in May 15, 2024. The result will have to be checked online. In the log-in panel that opens, enter your candidate credentials.

The result will have the sectional and overall marks, and the qualifying status. Shortlisted candidates will be called for seat allotment.

MITID DAT exam is conducted in both online and offline modes. Phase 1 of MITID DAT is held in online mode as a computer-based test and Phase-2 of the exam is to be attempted on a sheet provided inside the exam hall.

The candidate has to follow the official pattern when preparing for the exam. This will imrpove their chances of doing well in MITID DAT.

DAT examination includes computer-based MCQ (objective) test, subjective test and offline drawing test. Objective and Descriptive Test is a Computer Based Test. Where in Objective Test candidates have to choose the correct option, in Descriptive Test they have to write the correct answer in the text box. Drawing Exam is an Offline Test. For this section candidates are provided A4 size drawing sheets to draw using Pens / Pencils / Colours etc. After the exam is over, the answer sheets are collected, scanned and uploaded for evaluation at the test centre.

Candidates are shortlisted for the Studio Test and Personal Interview based on their performance in the MIT DAT 2025 entrance test. The Studio Test and Personal Interview is the 2nd stage of the two-stage MITID DAT 2025 admission process. The 1st stage is the online written exam.

The Studio Test and Personal Interview for the M.Des programs was conducted in May. The Studio Test and Personal Interview for the B.Des programs were also held in May.

It is mandatory for candidates to appear in all the stages of the MITID DAT 2025 exam. This means, candidates who have qualified the written exam but doesn't appear in the Studio Test and Interview, he or she will not be included in the final results.
