The application form for MITID DAT 2026 exam is currently OPEN. The application has to be submitted in online mode only.

The last date to fill out the MITID DAT application form is February 28, 2026. When filling out the MITID DAT application form, the candidate must use only genuine and verifiable information. Note that information furnhished by the candidate at the time of filling out the form will be verified at the time of counseling and seat allotment. Any candidate found using counterfeit or wrong information may be disqualified. 

The Design Entrance Test (DET) 2026 exam for admission to the B.Des and M.Des courses at the MIT Institute of Design will be conducted on April 05, 2026.

The entrance exam included a Design Aptitude Test and is the 1st stage of the two-stage admission process. Candidates who qualified in the DAT exam had to next appear in a Studio Test & Personal Interview.

At the UG level, the institute offers a three-year full-time Bachelor of Design (BDes) which is the flagship course of MITID. The BDes programme is offered across twelve specialisations. Bachelor of Design (B Des) or BDesign is an established degree in the design field at the undergraduate level. B.Des degree is a full-time four-year course offered in various specialisations such as Fashion Designing, Interior Designing, Accessory Designing, Textile Designing, and much more.

The factors -It will be based on the total no of canditate which have appeared in the exam, number of candidates who applied for the exam, the difficulty level of the exam, etc. Based on this MITID DAT Cut Off candidates will be selected to appear for the next rounds which are Studio Tests and Personal interviews.
