MITITD DAT examination will have computer-based MCQ (objective) test, subjective test and offline drawing test.

•  Objective Exam – Computer Based Test
• Descriptive Exam – Computer Based Test
• Drawing Exam – Offline Test Candidates need to draw using Pens / Pencils / Colours on the sheets provided.

The last date to fill the MITID DAT registration form was February 28, 2026. The exam was conducted on April 12, 2026. MITID DAT (Design Aptitude Test) is in online & pen-paper mode.

MIT Institute of Design PhD eligibility criteria is as below:

• MDes/ M.Arch/ MTech/ M.E/ MCA with 60% aggregate at least
• MBA or equivalent with relevant studies in Design field and Bachelor's degree in any field with 60% marks at least
• PG Diploma in Design (NID/ CEPT or equivalent) with first class at UG level
• MFA/ MVA with 70% marks at least

The MITID DAT 2025 result will be declared on April 23, 2025 after 5 PM for cycle 1. The Design Entrance Test (DET) was conducted on April 06, 2025. The Final List for B Des and M Des are as follows:

Candidates will need the documents mentioned below to fill the MITID DAT application form.

• 10th Marksheet
• 12th Marksheet
• Graduation Marksheet for M.Des
• Caste/EWS certificate (if required)
• Domicile Certificate (if required)
• A recent passport-size photograph
• Scanned signature
• Valid ID proof (Aadhaar card, passport, etc.)

The total fee for MIT Institute of Design BDes is INR 6.52 lakh. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change.
