Candidates who are selected for admission at MMU Solan need to participate in counselling rounds for seat allotment. Aspirants need to report at the campus with the below-mentioned documents for verification:

• Original Matric Certificate (as proof of date of birth)
• Original marksheet/ Certificate of qualifying examination
• Character Certificate
• Migration Certificate
• Affidavits against ragging
• 1 set of attested photocopies of the above documents except Migration Certificate

Candidates who have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English are eligible to apply for MBBS programme at MMU Solan. Aspirants who have passed BSc examination of an Indian university provided that he or she has passed the exam with not less than two of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany/ Zoology), Biotechnology can also apply.

MMU Solan offers seats to candidates in the MBBS programme based on their NEET-UG scores. Aspirants with a valid NEET score are offered seat through centralised counselling conducted by Government of Himachal Pradesh. The seats are available under State Quota and Management Quota in the MBBS programme. Once selected, aspirants can confirm their seat by paying the course fee. 

MMU Solan offers seats to candidates in MSc programme based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. Aspirants should have passed graduation to apply for preferred MSc specialisations. There are a total of 25 seats available in the MSc programmes. The intake includes all the specialisations. Selected candidates are required to confirm their seat by paying the course fee.

Candidates who have passed MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BPT or BSc Nursing/ BASLP/ BSc MLT/ BSc OTT/ BSc CVT/ BOptom/ BSc RIT or equivalent degree from any recognised university with at least 50% aggregate are eligible to apply for MSc programme at MMU Solan. Aspirants should have relevant documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. 

MMU Solan offers MSc for three-years at the PG level. The course is divided into six semesters. Candidates who have completed graduation are eligible to apply for any of the below-mentioned MSc specialisations:

• Medical Anatomy
• Medical Physiology
• Medical Biochemistry
• Medical Microbiology
• Medical Pharmacology

MMU Solan conducts an entrance exam to select candidates for admission to BSc Nursing programme. Aspirants who pass the test with a good score are required are selected for admission. They further need to participate in counselling rounds conducted by the university. Once the seat is allotted, candidates need to confirm their seat by paying the course fee. There are a total of 60 seats available in BSc Nursing programme.
