You need to give JEE mains or State Engineering Entrance exams to get any Engineering institute and then you may opt for Mechanical Branch. Your class 12th marks are only sufficient for getting admissions in private colleges only.

There are chances that you can get MNIT but that also depends on the number os students applying or the cutoff and many more factors. So it is suggested that do not rely on a single college instead apply for some other best colleges. You may get admission in other best private university

I can't give you the exact figures but around 130 marks in JEE Mains with 94-96% marks in C.B.S.E Boards are the bare minimum. This can vary mutually, i.e if you get lower percentage around 90 then you need to score well in JEE Mains ,i.e. around 190. So you need to either score good in Boards or in
