MTech course full-time is two years long and the part- time course is 3 years long. While the syllabus remains the same, the semester exam evaluation differs depending on the mode of the program.

The M.Tech cutoff for MNIT Jaipur varies according to the specialisation. According to the trends of the last three years (2022-24) there is no uniform movement in the cutoff ranks during counselling across specialisations. M.Tech in Computer Engineering cutoff in 2024 was 590 which was below the cutoff rank in 2023 which was 490. At the same time, the cutoff rank rose in M.Tech in Structural Engineering from 519 in 2022 to 490 in 2024. Therefore, there is no one trend that the programme has seen in its cutoffs.

MNIT Jaipur provides 612 seats in its M.Tech programme. These seats are provided across various specialisations in full-time or part-time mode. M.Tech in Materials Science and Engineering offers the most amount and M.Tech in Embedded Systems offers the most amount of seats in the programme with 27 seats. Admission to Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur's Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) programme is extremely competitive, with a JEE Main rank of 5228. In 2024, MNIT Jaipur's CSE closing rank for the General category under the open quota was roughly 4774. However because the cutoffs differ greatly by category your prospects may rise if you fall into a reserved category (such as EWS, OBC, SC or ST). For BTech branch such as CSE, Electrcial and ECE, the average package stood at INR 19.8 LPA, 14.73 LPA and 16.21 LPA. In MTech, average package received by students of these branch was 14.89 LPA, 11.38 LPA and 19.52 LPA.
