Hi.The aspirants need to fill out an online/offline application form with their complete details to apply for the desired course. The application form can be filled out in online mode by visiting PTU's official website (ptu.ac.in). The selection for most of the courses is based on merit of the aspirants in the last qualifying exam. The university may accept entrance exam for admission to a few courses.
Thanks

I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University - Mohali Campus does not have a different cut-off for admitting students; however, a minimum of 45% aggregate in their 10+2 exams can usually get a student through the CMAT entrance. The university does not impose stringent cutoffs while admitting students, which makes the process more lenient for the students who have a decent rank in the CMAT. Please note that the eligibility criteria may slightly differ for each program and category. Admission information for most courses can be found on official websites; hence, it is recommended to view them for the latest updates.

The best course of I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University-Mohali Campus II depends upon the interest of the person as well as their career goals. However, B.Tech in CSE, IT, and ECE have a high demand in students because of their job scopes as well as relevance and concern towards industry as well as the expertise of faculties. The B.Arch program is also quite rightly placed there due to the interest in architecture and design. Also, the institute provides an MBA and M.Tech course, which is ideal for those who pursue higher studies in any management or engineering study.
