The Presidential Scholarship is MSU's most distinguished academic award focusing primarily on the scholastic achievement, demonstrated leadership, and unique personal qualities of the students. Montana State University offers few scholarship opportunities to international students. International students at MSU are eligible for the merit-based scholarship which is based on the average grade point secured by the student. The merit-based scholarship is only applicable on Montana State University tuition fees. Students applying for admission to Montana State University are automatically considered for the merit-based scholarship.
