- ARWU 2025 ranking for the Ludwig Maximilians University located in Munich was #42 and in 2024 it was #43.
- These rankings are getting better with each passing year. A really big jump can be seen here from 2023 (rank #59) to 2025 (#42).

Both the universities TU Munich and RWTH are honored as 'University of Excellence' and are part of TU9. LMU Munich does not serve Indian food regularly at its campus. However, several Asian/Veg cuisines are available on weekly menus. For Indian food, students will likely have to cook their own or look for Indian restaurants in Munich.
There is no shortage of Indian restaurants near LMU Germany. The Indian Room Munich, Indian Love Story Restaurant, and Tikka and Talk are some popular ones. These serve delicious Indian food for EUR 20 to EUR 30 (INR 2.2 K to INR 3.3 K) per meal.
