No, you cannot apply for this course after 10th. You need to complete your class 12th first.

Most of the professional mass communication courses can only be pursued after completing 12th standard. 10+2 passed (from any stream- Arts, Commerce or Science) is the minimum educational qualification required to pursue standard mass communication courses.
Some institutes are known to offer Diploma and certificate courses to 10th passed students though. The quality and validity of such Diploma courses are questionable. Ultimately, such courses are not very useful, when it comes to finding a job using them!

Hi Gautam Sharma, it will be competitive, but a good idea since there are so many technologies around this sector and you have the skills you can have a good opportunity. Sound Engineering is one of the niche sectors not like civil or mechanical which are the most trending. What other course options do you have depends on your interest.

Please check for your eligibility to pursue a course in sound engineering from the criteria mentioned below:
Students may pursue the 2 years long Diploma in Sound Engineering course. To pursue this course, a student must have completed 10+2 Schooling with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. In case of Admission process, some Institutes may even conduct their own entrance and Aptitude examinations. Regards.

Government polytechnic is offering Diploma in sound Engineering, which you can do after class 10th for 3 years . After 3 years, you will get Direct second year Admission in Sound Engineering (Degree). For degree, passing in class 12th is compulsory in any Engineering field and for Diploma passing in class 10th is compulsory in all Engineering fields.
