The officers who were in the service of the National Bank as of 02 January 1996 are entitled to get a Personal Allowance worth INR 550 per month on completion of one year after reaching the maximum scale of pay. The employees in Group B get Family Allowance at the rate of 4 per cent of pay, up to a maximum of INR 700 per month.

The payscale of NABARD Grade B Manager is INR 35150 - 1750 (9) - 50900 - EB - 1750 (2) - 54400 - 2000 (4) - 62400 (16 years). The salary is one of the most important parameters for applying for the exam. Candidates must be well aware of the salary inorder to know how much they will get if selected for the post.

NABARD Grade B selection process comprises prelims exam, Mains and interview. Candidates qualifying the prelims exam are called for the Mains exam. The marks obtained in the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list. The final selection of candidates is done based on the Mains exam and interview.
