NATA

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture NATA measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study, I. e. Architecture. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time, and that are related to specific field of study, I. e. Architecture. NATA 2018 is a qualifying examination for admission into the B.Arch degree programme. Reservation is aprerogative of the admission/ counselling authority and does not fall under the purview of this examination. So, reservation will be given by the concerned institution at the time of admission if applicable there.

For admission to B. Architecture course, you need to qualify the eligibility criteria in the college you wish to apply. For most colleges, NATA (which is an entrance exam for admission to B.Arch score is taken into consideration and then admissions are conducted. The duration of the course is 5 years and to get admission into B.Arch. The student must be fulfilled the following conditions:
10+2 or equivalent with minimum 50% marks along with the compulsory subject of mathematics.
10th + 3 years Diploma in any stream from a recognized university/ board/ institution. Cleared NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) with the 80% marks conducted by Council of Architecture. For free seats in a particular college, you need to score really high in the entrance exam. 50% marks of class 12th and 50% NATA marks are considered. You might qualify for a free seat, if your name falls in the final merit list prepared by the university. All the best.
