Sir, the National Institute of Design does not have preferred NRI quota seats. Instead, it provides admission in the following categories:
1. General
2. General (EWS)
3. Scheduled Caste (SC)
4. Other Backward Class (OBC-NCL)
5. Scheduled Tribe (ST)
6. Persons with Disabilities (PWD)

The NID Application Form 2023 will be released from the month of October 2022. The application form will be available in the online mode. No, you don't need to necessarily take coaching to crack NIFT and NID exams. It can be done based on self-study. For that, you need to take notes on a few points. Yes, scholarship is provided for the tuition fees within the range Rs 1.5 Lacs to Rs. 2.5 Lacs. Other expenses are to be borne by the student.
