AnantU conducts its own BDes entrance test, ADEPT, and interview, which focuses on creative potential. While competitive, it is easier than the NID DAT or CEED/UCEED, which have extremely low selection rates. CEPT also carries a very high academic reputation that makes its admissions particularly rigorous.

NID Ahmedabad accepts the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) exam for admission to its Bachelor of Design (B.Des) and Master of Design (M.Des) programmes. This national-level entrance exam is conducted in two stages: DAT Prelims (paper-pencil test) and DAT Mains (studio test/interview). It is quite competitive exam.

There are a total of 126 seats for MDes courses offered by NID Ahemdabad. The seats are distributed specialisation-wise. The sanctioned intake is subject to revision by the authorities. It is mentioned here as per the official website/ sanctioning body. But is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.
