Aadhaar is one of the valid photo ID proofs that candidates can produce as identity proof. But exam officials will also accept other government IDs like Driving License, Passport, etc. The list of acceptable IDs will be mentioned on the NID DAT admit card. The security personnel at the NID DAT exam center will verify the documents before allowing the candidate entry inside the exam center. Any candidate who fails to produce the admit card and ID proof will not be allowed to take the DAT Prelims exam.

The NID DAT 2027 (Prelims) exam will be conducted in the following 22 cities:
Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Kurukshetra, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, Vijayawada.

NID DAT and NIFT are two of the most important design entrance exams in the country. Both exams have a design aptitude test and many topics that overlap.
So, you can safely solve NID DAT sample papers as well. That being said you first job will be to complete the NIFT sample papers.

NID Andhra Pradesh is recognised and listed in Anabin, one of three central information systems that provide information on "Recognition of international professional qualifications". The database contains data on the evaluation of international educational certificates and aids authorities, employers, and private individuals in classifying foreign credentials in the German educational system. The college has been declared as an institution of National Importance by the Act of Parliament. Talking about the placements, as per the NID Ahmedabad placement report for 2024, a total of 686 students opted for full-time placements . Among these, 476 offers were given by industries for full-time placements.

The no. of recruiters are not availabe officially. Some of the top recruiters who visited NID Kurukshetra campus recently include Deloitte, Accenture, TCS, OnePlus, Adobe. etc.
