Yes, National Institute of Design, Gandhinagar is a good college and was established in 1961. NID is also known as the most difficult design school in India to get into. The NID entrance exam is taken into consideration and it has only about 100 seats in its B. Des programmes and a mere 275 seats in its M. Des programmes across its three campuses.

Expected NID DAT cut off 2024 has been updated on this page. Candidates can also check past year's NID cutoff to get an idea on opening and closing ranks for admission. As per previous year NID cutoff, the NID DAT cutoff marks for General category was 50. National Institute of Design will release the NID DAT cutoff 2024 pdf along with result at admissions.nid.edu. Candidates can also check NID fees 2024.

National Institute of Design (NID) Gandhinagar was established in 2004. It offers programme in various specializations. The mode of application is online only and for admission process applicants must appear Design Aptitude Test (DAT) Prelims and mains.
In NID Placements 2022, there was a participation of 124 recruiters. Students received about 400 job offers. Microsoft offered jobs to 30 students during the placement drive.

The NID Gandhinagar and NID Ahmedabad are in one state, they both are managed by the same government of India. The IIRF rank of NID Gandhinagar is 17 and IIRF rank of NID Ahmedabad is 1. You can get the similarities in infrastructure and extracurricular activities likes fest, events, and expos .
So, overall you might find some similarities between them, but NID Ahmedabad is top.

The NID Ahmedabad has higher IIRF rank than NID Gandhinagar and it has higher package, placement, and internship.
The NID Gandhinagar placements are lower than the NID Ahmedabad in most cases as the top most MNC's prefer the institute with higher rank.
