National Institute of Design, Gandhinagar

National Institute of Design (NID) Gandhinagar was established in 2004. It offers programme in various specializations. The mode of application is online only and for admission process applicants must appear Design Aptitude Test (DAT) Prelims and mains.

The last date to apply for NID DAT 2024 with regular fee is December 1; with late fees, application will be accepted up to December 3.

Admission is based on a weightage given to results of both the Prelims and the Mains examinations. NID Prelim exams generally happen in the last week of December / First week of January every year.
