The college life in NID Gandhinagar is very good because of its good infrastructure, it's maintenance, it's resdintial/hostel facilities and its overall hygiene and the medical staff in the emergency situations. The last date to apply for NID DAT 2024 with regular fee is December 1; with late fees, application will be accepted up to December 3.

Admission is based on a weightage given to results of both the Prelims and the Mains examinations. NID Prelim exams generally happen in the last week of December / First week of January every year. The fee range of these courses is INR 10 Lakhs - 11.4 Lakhs. To get enroll in these courses one must clear the NID Entrance Exam. The institute offers admission to 146 students. 

The cutoff for M.Des at NID Gandhinagar varies each year based on the number of applicants and the performance of the candidates in the NID Entrance Exam (DAT). The cutoff is generally quite high, and only the top performers in the DAT are admitted to the program.
