Yes, it is a must, since its premier institute comes under Ministry of Textiles, Govt. Of India,
So no back side entry or donations, all you have to do is appear in all India Exam held in February every year

The UG, PG and PhD courses admissions in NIFT are based on entrance exams so theses are not suitable for you. However, NIFT Bangalore also offers various continuing education (CE) programs. The course duration can range from 6 months to one year. The CE courses of the one-year duration of NIFT Banga
