NIFT Bangalore doesn't have any criteria of compulsorily staying in hostel. Also, the hostel facility in campus is available only to female students of first year, rest have to live outside college as Paying Guests (PGs). Even first year female students, if wished could opt for PGs. There are various PGs around the college, that can be looked for, according to the needs.

The main purpose of studying i.e. the package offered, NIFT Bangalore offers a whooping 3LPA average salary. It is also the third ranked among all NIFTs. It has basic facilities like hostel (for first year female students only), medical assistance in form of infirmary, electricity, water, Wi-fi, etc.,  

The best course offered here, at NIFT Bangalore is Bachelor of Design (BDes), but the students should choose their courses according to their field of interest. In NIFT Bangalore, students need to decide their courses at the time of counselling itself, which does not avail them to get exposed to all domains and then choose.
