National Institute of Fashion Technology Kannur is a government institute established in 2008. It offers BDes programme for a duration of four years in four specialisations. Candidates are required to appear for NIFT Entrance Exam and the students are accepted on the basis of merit. National Institute of Fashion Technology Kannur is a government institute. It has a great infrastructure and is equipped with great facilities, well-equipped design studios, a well-stocked library, computer labs, and specialised workshops for hands-on learning. It has been ranked 16 for Fashion Design by Outlook in 2019 and holds a good placement record as well.
