Yes, the NIFT Chennai offers a four-year full time degree course in BDes. This course is taught across six specialisations, namely Fashion Design, Leather Design, Knitwear Design, Accessory Design, Textile Design and Fashion Communication. Admission to the programme, entirely based on the NIFT entrance exam.

National Institute of Fashion Technology Kannur is a government institute established in 2008. It offers BDes programme for a duration of four years in four specialisations. Candidates are required to appear for NIFT Entrance Exam and the students are accepted on the basis of merit. The total seat intake is 176 and the total fee for the is INR 13,15,700 and thr Average Package offered was Rs.4.1L.

National Institute of Fashion Technology Kannur is a government institute. It has a great infrastructure and is equipped with great facilities, well-equipped design studios, a well-stocked library, computer labs, and specialised workshops for hands-on learning. It has been ranked 16 for Fashion Design by Outlook in 2019 and holds a good placement record as well.

The college has not released the salary package for the year 2022. According to Shiksha review, the highest package offered for BDes Fashion Design was INR 6 LPA during the recent placement drive. NIFT Chennai students were offered various roles such as Associate Designer, Assistant Designer, Fashion Stylist and many more. This is to note that, the highest package and roles offered are gathered from Shiksha review page. Hence, the stats and roles offered mentioned here may vary further.
