The National Institute of Fashion Technology administers the NIFT Entrance Exam, a national exam, to determine eligibility for the M.FTech programme at NIFT Chennai

Applicants must take the General Ability Test (GAT) exam as part of the NIFT Entrance Exam in order to be considered for admission to the M.FTech programme at NIFT Chennai.

A minimum cumulative score of 55% in the most recent qualifying exam and a Bachelor of Design (B.Tech/B.Des) or Master of Fashion (M.FTech) or other relevant subject are prerequisites for admission to NIFT Chennai.

As a result, NIFT Chennai recognizes NIFT Entrance Exam results for M.FTech admission.

It's not surewhat the minimum cutoff will be for the M.Tech programme at NIFT Chennai in 2023. It does state, however, that applicants must have received at least 55% of the possible points in their most recent qualifying exam, and that the maximum age is 28 as of August 1 of the entrance year. Although the NIFT cutoff for 2024 has not yet been announced, applicants can obtain a sense of the minimum rank needed for admission by looking at previous years' cutoffs. The number of applicants, the exam's difficulty level, the availability of seats, and the candidates' performance are some of the variables that affect the cutoff.

The latest cutoff details for M.FTech at NIFT Chennai are not present. Nevertheless, admission to M.FTech at NIFT Chennai is contingent on the candidate's rank in the NIFT Entrance Exam and the institute's predetermined cutoff marks. These cutoffs fluctuate annually and hinge on factors such as the total number of exam takers, the exam's difficulty level, available programme seats, and the preceding year's cutoff trends. Thus, achieving a commendable score in the NIFT Entrance Exam is advised to enhance the likelihood of securing admission to the M.FTech programme at NIFT Chennai.

Both National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) campuses in Bhubaneswar and Chennai hold reputable positions in the field of fashion design education in India. Making a choice between NIFT Bhubaneswar and NIFT Chennai for pursuing a Bachelor of Design (B.Des) depends on various factors:

NIFT Gandhinagar's placement percentage is lower than that of NIFT Chennai. However, NIFT Gandhinagar has made notable progress in recent years, and the difference has shrunk. High placement rates frequently above 90% are a feature of both educational institutions. In 2023, the most expensive package offered by NIFT Gandhinagar was about 12 LPA, while the most expensive package offered at NIFT Chennai was almost 22 LPA.

Across various NIFT programmes, such as Fashion Design, Textile Design, Knitwear Design, etc., placement rates could vary significantly. Analyse information for your particular programme of interest. Strong industrial ti

In comparison with NIFT Gandhinagar, the National Institute of Fashion Technology is thought to be better for B.Des students. Assuring a standard in design education, both colleges share the same NIFT curriculum. However, the faculty expertise or teaching approaches for specific specialisations may differ slightly. The instructors are both skilled and experienced. Depending on the college, some professors may be experts in particular fields.

With more guest lectures and internship opportunities available, Chennai has a modest advantage because it is close to important textile and apparel export firms. Both have strong placeme
