NIFT Hyderabad offers admission to candidates based on their scores in NIFT Entrance Exam. Aspirants need to appear for Creative Ability Test and General Ability Test for BDes and MFM courses. Candidates have to only appear for GAT for admission to BFTech. Selected candidates are called for Situation Test/ PI for final admission. Aspirants have to come for document verification and fee payment to confirm their seat.

The Institute offers four years of full-time BFTech in Apparel Production. Lateral entry to this course is also available. The admission process for this course includes the General Ability Test (GAT), it is a part of the NIFT Entrance Exam. Moreover, to be eligible for this course, the candidate must be a Class 12 pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or equivalent from a recognized board.

Admission to the two-year MFM course at NIFT Hyderabad is based on the NIFT Entrance Exam scores. Candidates with a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university can apply for MFM. Shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview round for final admission.

NIFT entrance exam is mandatory for admission at NIFT Hyderabad The applicants are selected for admission based on marks secured in the NIFT Exam i.e., CAT and GAT. Students seeking admission in BFTech should only appear for GAT.
