NIFT Bangalore typically has higher national rankings and stricter cutoffs. However, NIFT Hyderabad is a top-tier "mid-level" campus known for superior architectural infrastructure, a lower cost of living, and deep ties to both the Hitech City IT hub and traditional craft sectors.

NIFT is a government-funded statutory body providing a globally recognised degree at a lower cost (around INR 13 lakh). Pearl Academy is a private institute with higher fees (around INR 32 lakh+) but offers more flexible, industry-facing portfolios and international collaborations for students.
