National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences admissions are now open. The institute generally opens the admission portal in Mar - Apr every year. The entrance exam is scheduled to be held in June.

No, direct admissions are not available for many programmes at NIMHANS Bangalore. Follow the Banagalore NIMHANS application procedure below:

  • Register with the ID & the correct mobile no.

The mode of NIMHANS Bangalore course admission process is based on the merit & the accepted entrance test scores. The accepted entrance test is INI CET etc. For entering the admission process, students will have to first appear for the entrance test. Then a student will have to write all the needed details in the application form. Submit the form with the needed info.

To join NIMHANS Bangalore after Class 12th, students must clear the accepted entrance exams with valid scores. The accepted entrance tests are INI CET, etc. Students must secure a min. of 50 to 55% aggregate in their graduation or Class 12th

All graduating students of PG 2-year and PG 3-year programs were placed during NIMHANS Bangalore placements 2024 and 2023. PG 2-year median package recorded in 2024 and 2023 was 16.09 LPA and 6 LPA. In PG 3-year, median package recorded was 18.09 LPA and 16.09 LPA.
