Candidates willing to secure NIPER Mohali (SAS Nagar) MS admission must start with ensuring that they fulfil the preset eligibility criteria for their desired MS specialisation. Additionally, they must have qualified in GPAT/GATE/NET/any other National Fellowship to be eligible for admission. Eligible candidates must visit the official website of NIPER Guwahati to apply for the NIPER JEE, the accepted entrance exam for MS admission.

Candidates who clear the required cut-off in the NIPER JEE are called for physical counselling and document verification. After the counselling process, selected candidates must confirm their admission by submitting the first intalment of the NIPER Mohali MS fees, along with other one-time charges.

During the NIPER Mohali MS (Pharm) admission process, candidates are required to submit the documents specified by the institute. These documents must be uploaded online (in prescribed file format and size) while applying for admission. Failing to do so may lead to rejection of the application form. Check below the list of the documents required during the application process:

• Matriculation Certificate as a proof of age and correct name
• Mark sheets of all the semesters/years of the qualifying degree
• Certificate of reservation for SC/ST/EWS/OBC candidates, if applicable
• Certificate of disability, if applicable
• Undertaking from the candidates in lieu of non-submission of any reservation document
• Self-attested copy of Aadhar Card
• Sponsorship certificate, if applicable
• Passport size photograph
• Signature

NIPER JEE is the mandatory entrance exam for admission to various Master's courses at NIPER Mohali. Candidates willing to pursue an MS (Pharm) at NIPER Mohali must appear for NIPER JEE, which is conducted by NIPER Guwahati. The application form for the same is also available on the official NIPER Guwahati website. The two-hour exam consists of 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs) under two sections. Section A comprises 25% questions which are based on General English, Aptitude, Reasoning, and General Knowledge etc. Section B comprises 75% of the total questions which are based on the syllabi of BPharm and PG degrees (MSc) in the relevant fields. 

NIPER Mohali offers various PG-level and PhD courses in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The PG-level courses include MS (Pharm), MPharm, M.Tech (Pharm), MBA (Pharm). In all these courses, NIPER reserves seats for various categories as per the prevailing rules of the Government of India. These categories include SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwD, etc.

Additioanlly, some supernumerary seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the following categories:

• 5% of the seats (over and above the total intake) are reserved for candidates sponsored by the Government Departments/ Research and Development Organisations / Public Sector Undertakings/ Reputed Private Pharmaceutical Enterprises
• 5% of the seats (over and above the total intake) are reserved for Foreign Nationals/OCI/PIO categories
• 3% of the seats (over and above the total intake) are reserved for the PwBD category
