National Institute of Technology Silchar offers admission based on the merit acquired by the candidate in the last qualifying exam and the entrance exam. In order to be eligible for UG admission at NIT Silchar, candidates must have secured the specified minimum aggregate of 75% in Class 12 and acquire valid scores in the entrance exam. Similarly, for PG admissions, candidates must have secured 60% in graduation and have valid entrance scores.
