Eligibility:-
Any Graduate earning a minimum of 50%. Receive your CAT -2023, XAT-2024 and CMAT - 2024 results. As of July 1, 2024, the upper age limit is 30 years for SC/ST/DA candidates and 28 years for General, EWS and OBC-NC candidates.
Tuition fee:-
Rs 11,00,000/- for 2 years.
Hotel and food charges:-
Rs 3,50,000 for 2 years.
GD/PI process :-
After CAT/XAT/CMAT results.

PGDM is a two-year management programme that costs Rs. 11.25 Lacs at the National Insurance Academy (NIA) in Pune. Besides areas such as human resource, marketing and finance, other management subjects include IT and insurance related topics. NIA presents its students with an opportunity of undertaking summer internships within private insurance companies from different Multinational corporations dealing with public sector general insurances. After successfully completing the course, one is likely to earn about Rs 7.56 Lacs per annum on average with leading placement firms being HDFC Bank, ICICI etc., among others.

Here are the prerequisites for admission to PGDM at NIA:
- Any graduate with not less than 50 percent marks.
- General, EWS, OBC-NC candidates have upper age limit of 28 while SC/ST/DA candidates’ age is capped at 30 as on July 1st, 2024.
- To get admitted into PGDM Course in NIA Pune, a candidate should score at least 50% in graduation.
- Selection process includes entrance examination such as CAT/XAT/or CMAT followed by GD / PI / and WAT.

National Insurance Academy in Pune has scholarship programs for undergraduate (UG) courses. The NIA provides scholarships to the deserving students, and among them are nine Rs. 1 Lacs scholarships each for meritorious students, girl students and eligible students. These scholarships have been designed at NIA to assist scholars with satisfactory performance at NIA. For the 2023 placement drive, it was observed that the average package for PG Diploma students at National Insurance Academy (NIA) in Pune is INR 12.50 LPA. This is the same as if it refers to the mean remuneration given to Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) learners of NIA. Furthermore, during this time frame, INR 13 LPA was the median package. The figures clearly demonstrate how competitive are average salaries paid to graduates from NIA’s PG Diploma course.
