Both NDA 1 and 2 exams have the same format, curriculum, application requirements, and selection procedure. The exams for courses starting in different sessions are only administered throughout different months of the year. The two distinct exam sessions, NDA 1 and 2, are held in separate months of the year. Cadets are inducted into the National Defence Academy in January and July of each year. The college offers AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi-approved courses to students. Since the courses are approved by NDA Pune, the degree is valid all over India.
