NDA

At NDA, the training programme lasts for three years, or six terms. Every year, there are two distinct spring seasons: fall (July to December) and spring (January to May). Throughout the three years, cadets receive academic instruction as well as training in multiple sports. There are two terms in the NDA academic year. January to May (July through December) is when it starts. The cadet encounters six of these terms. Three years are dedicated to the training phase. The NDA 3-Year Course Fees are the candidates' next worry when they enroll in the course. The expense of NDA training, including housing, books, uniforms, boarding, and medical care, will be paid for by the government. Parents or guardians of cadets will be required to pay for their own expenses as well as other personal expenses.

Both NDA 1 and 2 exams have the same format, curriculum, application requirements, and selection procedure. The exams for courses starting in different sessions are only administered throughout different months of the year. The two distinct exam sessions, NDA 1 and 2, are held in separate months of the year. Cadets are inducted into the National Defence Academy in January and July of each year. As a result, UPSC offers the exam across two sessions. There are differences in the eligibility criteria for NDA 1 and 2, including the age limit. There are also differences in the student intake for the two periods. There are differences in the qualifying marks and cutoff for each session.

The fees for various courses at NDA Pune vary according to the programme. For B.E. / B.Tech degrees, the approximate fee for Kerala 12th students is INR 99,790, while others pay INR 34,600. Furthermore, scholarships are provided to students from several states/union territories/boards. The NDA Pune campus has a variety of facilities, including a library, dormitories, labs, and sports spaces.
