NDA stands for National Defence Academy. NDA is situated at Khadakwasla, Pune, Maharashtra and it is one of the most prestigious military training institutions in the world. NDA trains cadets for Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. The cadets are trained to become officers in the Indian Armed Forces upon graduation. Cadets are received a Bachelor's degree in the field of engineering or technology or any other field. The selected candidates get a mail in which they can find the link to the respective defence site login. Candidates need to first register on the respective defence websites. After that, they can select the date, time and venue for SSB interview. Interview schedule is same for SSB in all entry Day 1 to Day 5. However, candidates get the time of reporting and items to be carried along with them in the call letter.

NDA 1 result 2023 for written exam was announced on May 1, 2023. The result was announced on the official website of UPSC. The list of shortlisted candidates was made available in PDF form. Candidates who have qualified the written exam of NDA 1 2023 are called for the SSB interview. The SSB interview is conducted in two stages. The final merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in the written exam and SSB interview.

As per the eligibility criteria of NDA, you should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Therefore, it is recommended that you pursue a degree course that includes these subjects in order to meet the eligibility criteria for the NDA exam. No, NDA cut offs are the same for all armed forces - Army, Navy, Air Force and Naval Academy. The cut off for the written exam is calculated out of 900 marks. Moreover, candidates are also required to secure the sectional cut off marks in the exam. Candidates need to secure separate cut off marks in the written exam and final selection. NDA Cut Off is released after completion of the NDA exam along with the NDA Result. NDA cutoff is will be released separately for the written exam and the final selection. The written exam cutoff is calculated out of 900 marks. NDA 2 cutoff for the written exam in 2021 was 355 whereas it was 726 for final selection. The final selection of candidates for admission to Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA was done based on the written exam and SSB interview. NDA cut off for the written exam is calculated out of 900 marks. The last selected candidates’ scores are used to determine the final selection cutoff, which is based on their performance out of 1800 marks (900 for the written exam and 900 for the SSB interview). No, the syllabus is not at all same for NDA and CDS. In NDA UPSC asks most of the questions in Physics Chemistry and Biology from Class 11 and 12 Science subjects. In CDS. Questions are asked from Class 6 and 10 Science books.
