The NEET city allotment slip and admit card are different documents. The NEET city intimation slip only informs about the allotted exam city. However, the NEET admit card informs about the allotted NEET exam centre. The admit card also contains the exam day instructions along with the NEET Self-Declaration Undertaking form.
Candidates must take the NEET admit card to their exam centres as without it they are not allowed to take the test. However, students do not need to carry the NEET exam city slip to the exam centre.

No, it is not necessary to submit the NEET admit card to the invigilator before leaving the exam centre. Invigilators check the admit card to validate candidates' attendance. They check the photograph, parents' signature and the self declaration form. Candidates are asked to sign in front of the invigilator, who then compares it with the printed signature on the admit card. Before leaving the exam hall, candidates have to submit their test booklet. They can carry the question paper and the NEET admit card outside the exam hall after the exam completion.
