As per the NTA, 22,76,069 candidates registered for NEET 2025. Out of these, 22,09,318 appeared for the exam. The number of NEET applicants exam reduced in comparison to the previous year.

The NEET 2025 application form process concluded on March 7, 2025. The National Testing Agency (NTA) had released the NEET 2025 application form on February 7, 2025. NTA conducted the NEET 2025 application correction window from March 9 to March 11, 2025. Unlike previous years, the NTA did not extend the last date for submitting the NEET 2025 application form or reopen the application window. The exam authorities had released an advisory and reminder to complete the NEET 2025 registration and application process within the slated date.

Yes, you can fill out the NEET registration form with 46% in 12th (PCB) but to be eligible for admission, you need the following:  

- Minimum 50% for General/OBC or 40% for SC/ST  

- Your PCB aggregate must meet the criteria  

 

Options if you fall short:  

1) Take an improvement exam to raise your marks.  

2) Consider NIOS or a single-subject re-test  

3) Some state boards allow grace marks  

 

Note: You'll receive an admit card, but final college admission requires your marks to meet the requirements. Don't lose hope; many students improve their marks later! Check
