NEET Application Form

Please read the application form carefully, before filling any information. Codes to be filled are specifically mentioned on the application form. Basic guidelines to follow while filling the form are mentioned below:
a. Fill the online application form and generate a registration number:
The first step requires students to download the application form. Before filling the form, students can check the seat reservation for different caste categories and eligibility criteria. While filling the application form, students need to fill all the required details very carefully.
At this step, aspirants can also review the filled in application details. In case of any question filled in incorrectly, you can just edit the details by clicking on Back button. If the information is appropriate and correct, students can click on 'Final submission' button to go to the next step. Students will also receive an OTP on the registered mobile number and email ID.
b. Upload photo and signature
At this step, students need to upload their images, signature and right hand index finger impression in the following format:Image: In JPEG format between 10 KB and 100 KB in sizeSignature: In JPEG format between 3KB and 20 KB in sizeRight hand index finger impression: In JPEG format between 3 KB and 20 KB in size
c. Make fee payment
The fee can be paid in both online and offline mode.Online mode: Application fee can be paid via Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet BankingOffline mode: Application fee can be paid via e-challan by depositing fee in CBSEs bank account in Syndicate Bank, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India and HDFC Bank generated at the time of online registration.
d. Print confirmation page
After successfully completing the above steps, students need to generate the confirmation page by clicking the 'Confirmation Page'.

Now, coming back to your question. Your passport-sized photograph should have your name and the date of taking the photograph, which should be after January 1, 2018. The photo should be taken against a white background.
The Image size should be in between 10KB - 100 KB and also should be in JPG Format.

Yes, you can change the photo in the application form. This information is present in the NEET 2018 brochure.
You can change the following credentials in the application form:
Identification Identity
1.Date of Birth
2.Gender
3.Category
4.Disability Status
5.State Codes of Eligibility
6.Medium of Question Paper
But you should be careful as the no. of attempts to edit the application form are very limited. You must go through all the information very carefully.
To change the photograph, CBSE will announce the notification for editing the photo in your form. You have to change the photo within 3-4 days of the notification announcement.
