According to NTA, 22,76,069 candidates registered for NEET 2025, out of which 22,09,318 candidates appeared for the exam. Out of this, 9,65,996 candidates were male and 13,10,062 candidates were female. The number has reduced as compared to last year.

Compared to last year, the number of NEET 2025 applicants has reduced. According to NTA, 22,09,318 candidates appeared for the exam. In the year 2025, 23,33,297 candidates had appeared. The NEET 2025 exam was conducted on May 4, 2025, across 556 cities in India and abroad.

Yes, you can fill out the NEET registration form with 46% in 12th (PCB) but to be eligible for admission, you need the following:
- Minimum 50% for General/OBC or 40% for SC/ST
- Your PCB aggregate must meet the criteria
Options if you fall short:
1) Take an improvement exam to raise your marks.
2) Consider NIOS or a single-subject re-test
3) Some state boards allow grace marks
Note: You'll receive an admit card, but final college admission requires your marks to meet the requirements. Don't lose hope; many students improve their marks later! Check

To fill out the NEET application form, Indian nationals must provide Aadhaar card details, while foreign nationals, NRI, and OCI candidates can use their passport number or citizenship certificate number as ID proof. Indian candidates can also use other ID proofs for address proofs, such as Class 12 Admit Card, Election Card (EPIC No.), Bank Account Passbook with Photograph, Ration Card, PAN, etc.
