NEET Counselling

The NEET 2022 AIQ Round 2 choice filling process was completed on November 9. The results of seat allotment in NEET UG round two will be released by MCC on November 11. The All India Quota (AIQ) cutoff for NEET UG has been high in previous years. As per the latest trends, the round two cutoff is expected to be as follows:
1. General category: More than 595
2. OBC category: Around 594
3. EWS: The cutoff for this category will be slightly lower than the general category cutoff.
4. SC: The cutoff for this category is expected to be less than 490.

The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) allots colleges following the announcement of the NEET UG results. Due to the large number of students participating in the process, the allocation process is lengthy. As a result, there are multiple rounds of allotment, with higher-ranking candidates receiving their first choice of colleges. There are a total of four rounds in the MCC counseling process, with rounds 1 and 2 being more crucial. Following that, a third round is held, known as the mop-up round, and the final one is the stray vacancy round. For NEET UG 2022, round one seat allocation is already finished, and round two choice filling is currently underway.

The procedure for state counseling in Telangana for NEET is as follows
Step 1 is online registration during this step candidate should check the official website of KNRUHS. The website should be opened only with internet explorer 11. Login through mobiles or tablets is not recommended. During the online registration the documents required by the Candidate NEET roll number, AIR obtained in NEET date of birth and mobile number
After validating above details, system will generate a unique registration ID for Candidate. Step 2 is Registration and verification fee during this Step a non refundable registration or verification fee should be paid by the Candidate through online credit or debit card transactions. For general /OBC Candidate 3500 rupees
For SC/ST Candidate 2900 rupees as per 2022 notification
Step 3 is verification of original certificates and other documents. In this Step Candidate should provide following documents NEET admit card, score card, Aadhaar card, 10 th class Certificate or Birth Certificate 10 th & 12th class marksheets, transfer certfrom last institute, caste / community Certificate if applicable, SSX/SSLC Certificate parent/relative if applicable, minority Certificate income Certificate EWS Certificate if applicable and residence Certificate for a minimum period of 10 years ( for candidates who studied in institutions outside Telangana)
Step 4 is final state merit list. In this step the candidate names who successfully completed Certificate verification were released. Candidates should check their names in the final merit list. Step 5 is web counseling seat allotment list
This is the final step during which candidates will be alloted to the colleges based on their choices filled during web counseling and their positions in state merit list. Candidate who wish to confirm their admission shall report to alloted College/ institute and pay academic fee before deadline. The NEET counselling procedure is done by two authorities:
1. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC): MCC does NEET counselling for 15% of the All India Quota (AIQ) seats. To participate in AIQ NEET counseling, you have to register on the official website of MCC "mccdotnicdotin". Currently, round one seat allocation has been done for NEET UG 2022. The next round of registration will begin on November 2. For the remaining 85% of state quota seats, the respective state counseling authorities will do state counseling. To participate in it, you will have to register on the official website of the respective state.
