In general, the NEET exam is conducted in the first week of May every year. In the years between 2020 and 2022, or the pandemic years, the schedule took a toll and the NEET UG exam was conducted in September and later in July. Since 2023, NEET is being conducted in the first Sunday of May. Accordingly, it is expected that the NEET 2025 exam will be conducted on Sunday, May 4, 2025, from 2 PM to 5.20 PM.

NTA has not announced the NEET UG 2026 dates as of now. The NEET exam date 2026 will be released soon. While NTA does not postpone the NEET exam date in general, it is common for NTA, the exam conducting authority to extend or postpone the dates of application form submission last date or the application correction last date. There have been instances in previous years where NTA had reopened the NEET application process or the NEET application correction window as a response to student requests or other internal reasons. HP NEET PG counselling dates are released by the counselling conducting body, Atal Medical and Research University, Himachal Pradesh (AMRU, HP). The entire counselling schedule is shared round-wise. After each round of counselling, if any changes are expected in the schedule, AMRU, HP releases an official notification to inform the candidates about the new dates. Candidates can check the official dates on the official website of HP NEET PG counselling, i.e. amruhp.ac.in.

MP NEET 2025 counselling mop up round dates were revised. Registration for mop up round had to be done till October 22, 2025. Candidates have to register and declare choices of college and course for seat allotment. Seat allotment result for mop up round was announced on October 29, 2025.

The NEET 2024 application submission process ended on April 10, 2024. The National Testing Agency (NTA) did extend the deadline twice previously, but there is no chance to submit a new application for NEET 2024 at this time (June 4, 2024)

NTA releases the NEET advance intimation to exam city slip around 10 days before the exam. The document needs to be downloaded online by logging in to the exam website with the registration details. The advance intimation to exam city slip carries the name of the city where candidates' NEET exam centre will be located. The actual exam centre address will be provided on the NEET admit card.
