Here is the age criteria for NET:
Candidate's age for Junior Research Fellowship should not exceed 30 years as on 01.01.2018
Woman candidate and reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/PWD) candidates will be provided with relaxation up to 5 years. Those who possess L. M. Degree will get three years relaxation in age. There is no age limit for appearing in the UGC NET Exam in case of Assistant Professor.

Hello, You are perfectly eligible for the UGC NET Exam if you have completed the Post graduation with 55 % marks. For Female and Reserved category students the criteria is 50% marks in post-graduation. Start your preparations for the UGC NET Exam from now.

Hello Prakash,I appreciate your question for the UGC NET Exam. Well, if you have completed Masters in the given subject you are eligible to appear in the NET Exam. The NET Exam is conducted every year for the aspirants want to make career in the lectureship and Research programme. The NET Exam do not have any age limit if you are 35 years old you can appear in the NET Exam. The JRF Exam is conducted for the Scholarship programme where an aspirant who qualifies this exam is provided the scholarship worth INR 25000 per month. Sorry, you are not eligible for the same. Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in their Master's degree exams (in streams such as Humanities, Social Science, Electronic Science, Computer Science & Applications, etc.). From a UGC recognised college/university fulfil UGC NET eligibility criteria. CA course is not covered under this definition.
