Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) is a government-funded university in New Delhi, India. It was established in 1983 and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).Admission to NSUT is based on entrance exams. Candidates with valid scores in national-level and university-level entrance exams, such as CUET-UG, CAT, and JEE-Main, will be shortlisted for the counseling process. 

For the BTech program, the university selects students based on JEE Main ranks and JAC Delhi counseling. There are six rounds of counseling, and seat allocation is based on JEE Main scores, seat availability, and reservation criteria.F

The cutoff marks for B.Tech at NSUT (formerly NSIT) depend on the branch, category, and region of the candidate. The admission is based on the JEE Main rank and score, followed by Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) Delhi. The cutoff marks vary every year depending on the difficulty level of the exam, number of seats available, number of candidates registered and appeared, etc.

A candidate can check NSIT cutoff 2023 on the official website of [JAC Delhi], which conducts the counselling and seat allotment process for admission to NSIT and other participating institutes. The cutoff is the minimum rank required to be eligible for admission in a particular branch and category. The cutoff depends on various factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of JEE Main, the availability of seats, etc. The cutoff for NSIT 2023 has not been released yet.

The NSIT UG application form 2024 will be available from the second week of June 2024. The application form can be filled online through the official website of JAC. The candidates have to register themselves and pay the counselling fee to participate in the admission process. The last date to submit the application form and fee will be in the first week of July 2024. The admission will be based on the rank of JEE Mains and the preferences of the candidates. No, you cannot join NSIT directly. You have to qualify for JEE Mains and apply for admission through JAC Delhi counselling. You also have to meet the eligibility criteria of having at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 12th standard and passing English as a core or elective subject. I hope this clarifies your doubt.

Yes, NSIT accepts JEE score for admission to its B.Tech programmes. According to some web search results, candidates should have at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Qualifying exams / 12th from the recognised Center or State Board. In addition, they should also have passed English as a core or elective subject in 10+2. Also, the candidates have to pass in each subject separately. The admission process is based on the rank of JEE Mains followed by counselling and interview. I hope this answers your question.

For the UG courses, the minimum eligibility criteria includes a minimum of 55% in 10+2. But the students must appear in the entrance exams, as there is no provision for direct admission.
