Netaji Subhas University of Technology

Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) is a government-funded university in New Delhi, India. It was established in 1983 and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).Admission to NSUT is based on entrance exams. Candidates with valid scores in national-level and university-level entrance exams, such as CUET-UG, CAT, and JEE-Main, will be shortlisted for the counseling process. 

For the BTech program, the university selects students based on JEE Main ranks and JAC Delhi counseling. There are six rounds of counseling, and seat allocation is based on JEE Main scores, seat availability, and reservation criteria.F

For example, for ME and MT courses, candidates must clear GATE and the NSUT Test for admission.

Netaji Subhas University of Technology was founded in 1983 as the Delhi Institute of Technology that was affiliated to the University of Delhi. In 2018 the institute gained university status and its current name. The university' s campuses are located in Dwarka, in India.

Netaji Subhas University of Technology achieved ranking according to nationa Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 60th among engineering institutes in India.It was also ranked 95th among universities and 101–150 overall.In 2021, NSUT was ranked 88th out of 300 in India, and fifth in New Delhi and Delhi NCR NSUT is consistently ranked as one of the top engineering colleges in India.It has been featured in various national level surveys conducted by professional and trade magazines. 

Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) is known for its good placements. The institute has a dedicated Training & Placement Cell that provides 100% placement assistance to students.

 Several reputed companies visit the campus for placements, offering lucrative job opportunities to the students. The highest package offered at NSIT is INR 1.6 crores per annum, and the average package is INR 18 Lakhs per annum.

131 OBC, 108 SC, 66 ST, 33 EWS, and 27  for General, Sangam Vihar/Sikkim - 2; Defence/J&K Migrant - 5; Differently Abled - 5
Eighteen seats are additionally set aside for Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA).

In conclusion, NSIT has a total capacity of 407 B.Tech students over four years, with seats allotted to various reservation categories in accordance with government regulations. The branches of computer engineering and electronics and communication have the most seats available.
