NYFA can be worth it for Indian students, particularly those who prioritize intensive, hands-on acting/filmmaking and global networking. NYFA is a great choice for Indian students seeking the following:
- Being behind the camera, directing actors, and editing from the first semester itself
- Willing to bear the high costs of studies and living

NYFA New York acceptance rate is 100%, per multiple unofficial sources. This suggests the institute is more than happy to welcome students who meet its minimum entry and English proficiency requirements.
Students interested in learning acting are required to give an audition. Students with other interests are required to submit a 3-5 minute video explaining the reason why they wish to pursue higher studies at the institute.
Students who ace the audition/interview round and meet their course's entry requirements have a great chance of securing a seat at the institute.
