Yes, the New York Film Academy welcomes students from India and hosts an Indian student club known as the 'Indian Club'. The Indian Club is present on the NYFA LA campus and aims to create opportunites for students who wish to celebreate the Indian culture. 

As per the New York Film Academy official website, the Indian club organizes the Bollywood Dance Class and supports in screening Indian movies both in and around the Los Angeles campus, among other things.

American Comedian and Actress: Aubrey Plaza, is a notable alumni of the New York Film Academy. Plaza attended a film camp at NYFA in 2000, before making her acting debut in 2006.

She has appeared in a number of popular American TV Shows and Movies, including: Parks and Recreation, White Lotus, Agatha All Along and Child's Play among others.

While there is no clear #1 film school in the world, the American Film Institute (AFI) is always in the conversation, when talking about the best film and acting institutes. Its Alumni Class of 2017, alone boasts 27 Emmy Award nominations, and American film producer: Anne Garefino and American Film Director: Darren Aronofsky are some of the notable names to have studied from the institute. 

Students are allowed to produce as many as four personal films over the duration of their studies, and is visited constantly by notable experts and veterans from Hollywood, including director Steve McQueen.
