As part of the NYU application process, an entrance test such as SAT or ACT is not mandatory. The students applying for UG courses at NYU Tisch are required to have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0.

The studnets applying for UG courses at NYU Tisch need at least 3.0 GPA to be eligible to be considered. The SAT and ACT scores are not necessary.

With an acceptance rate of less than 25% typically which is decreasing with each passing year, the NYU Tisch School of the Arts is considered a highly selective school. According to NYU admission details 2023, over 120,000 applications were submitted, out of which only 9,600 students were rolled out an offer letter which makes this school highly selective.
