The total tuition fee of MDes is INR 1 Lacs - INR 1.6 lakh. Candidates are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. To pursue a two-year MDes programme at NIMS University at the postgraduate level, you must have completed a Bachelor's Degree of at least 3 years duration and obtained a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination. MBA is a two-year course offered in 20+ specializations, namely General, Agribusiness Management, Rural Management, Supply Chain Management, Event Management, etc. Candidates who have passed bachelor's degree of a minimum of 3 years with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for reserved category) can apply for the MBA course.

Admission to MBA course is based on NIMSEE score. NIMSEE is a national level entrance exam which is conducted once a year and the mode of the entrance exam is offline i.e. pen and paper test. After completion of the selection rounds, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification. Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university.
