National Institute of Science Education and Research part of the Homi Bhabha National Institute offers five-year Integrated BSc + MSc and a PhD course at UG and doctoral levels. The institute conducts National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) for selecting aspirants for Integrated BSc + MSc programme. Besides, NISER also accepts national-level entrance exams like GATE, JEST, GPAT, CSIR NET, etc. for PhD admission.

The eligibility for admission to the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) for UG/PG courses is as follows:

Integrated M.Sc. Program:

  • Candidates need to qualify the 10+2 exam with a minimum of 60% aggregate score in the relevant subjects.
  • Candidates seeking admission to the Integrated M.Sc. programme need to appear for the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST)

Integrated Ph.D. Program:
