The National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar does not mention a "100% scholarship" clearly to its Ph.D. students by way of tuition waivers or any other such means, since the scheme is itself fully funded.
Ph.D. scholars are given a fellowship through schemes like JRF (Junior Research Fellowship), which is about INR 31,000 monthly, plus a contingency grant as per DST norms. Living costs and research expenses are taken care of, making this almost a complete funding support system.

Not, National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar does not come under the programme of CUET (Common University Entrance Test) in India. Admission to Integrated BSc-MSc programs takes place after qualifying the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST), which primarily serves NISER and UM-DAE CEBS.
CUET applies to many central universities, but being a completely autonomous institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, NISER follows its own admission criteria. As of March 28, 2025, the NEST is the only single entry point for undergraduate courses at NISER with a focus on science-specific aptitude and not lik

Integrated BSc and MSc placements are generally high at NISER Bhubaneswar, especially with the Science graduates who are taking the path toward research or academics.
They do not market themselves as placement-oriented like engineering colleges, but one sees students at NISER joining elite institutions such as TIFR, IISc, and some foreign institutions into their Ph.D. programs, availing monthly stipends between INR 30,000 to 50,000. Industry placements are not very frequent, but some students take up positions in data science, analytics, or envision teaching, where packages range from INR 6 to 8 LPA.

The latest cutoff for the Ph.D. admissions at the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar will completely depend on the entrance examination scores and the performance during the interview.
Atypical criterion, as of now, March 28, 2025, would refer to a candidate possessing a valid score in the JEST or GATE or CSIR-UGC NET exam because the cutoffs differ among several disciplines (e.g., Physics, Biology). For instance, a GATE score going beyond 300 and a NET rank below 200 forms hugely competitive ranges.

Selection to the Ph.D. in Biological Sciences at NISER is through fulfilling the education requirement and national exam performances, such as GATE, JEST, GPAT, CSIR NET, or ICMR JRF. These shortlisted candidates have to face a written test and/or interview.
To be eligible for the Ph.D. program, candidates need a Master's degree with 55% marks in related fields. Alternatively, a four-year Bachelor's degree with 75% marks can also be considered. Besides meeting the cut-off marks in the entrance exam, applicants must also score a minimum mark in each subject. Online applications are submitted via the NISER website.

Hii!The cutoff for the Integrated B.Sc. + M.Sc. program at NISER Bhubaneswar is determined based on factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty of the entrance exam, and seat availability. NISER conducts its own entrance exam for admission, and the cutoff typically varies each year.
for getting the most accurate and latest cutoff information, I would recommend checking NISER's official website or reaching out to their admission office directly for the latest details.
Wishing you the best in your application!

No, the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) does not offer an Integrated Nursing program, but it does offer a 5-year Integrated MSc program in basic sciences. Admission to the Integrated MSc program is based on the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST), which is conducted jointly by NISER and CEBS, Mumbai.
