NIT Agartala offers MTech courses based on GATE CCMT scores. The students get shortlisted on the basis of merit lists and counselling rounds. While the counselling process starts, candidates with their names in the seat allotment list are provisionally admitted to the respective courses. The shortlisted candidates need to report to NIT Agartala within the due date for each counselling round and submit the fees.

Students having low attendance at the National Institute of Technology Agartala must not worry. If the reason is genuine and involves medical issues, the college will surely consider and will provide some relaxation for the same. If the college finds that the student's reason is not genuine, then the student will have to suffer the consequences.

Yes, NIT Agartala is a good college. National Institute of Technology Agartala has been ranked by the NIRF 2025 under the Engineering category at the 101-150 position. The Government of India converted the Tripura Engineering College to NIT Agartala in 2006. NIT Agartala ROI is quite good. The placements are also decent.
