I got 93 percentile in Mains and 6points in inter first year and 6.67 in second year. Is there any chance of getting an NIT seat. OBC

Your Mains percentile determines your admission and the board exam score is just an eligibility criterion. Since you belong to OBC, you need to have a minimum of 65 percent in boards. And hence you can get admission at NITs. To know your chances, you may use the college predictor tool from the link

As you mentioned that you have secured 16600 rank in JEE Mains, which is a great rank. So, you can easily get a seat at NIT, Andhra Pradesh .

It's not possible for you to get admission in any of the NITs as there are only 559 seats in all NITs. In order to get admission in NITs, your AIR should be less than 1500. You can't even get admission in top government colleges. You have to go with private institutes with this rank where mostly fre

It's not possible for you to get admission in NIT Trichy as it is the Top NIT in India. You can take admission in other NITs like NIT Puducherry. To know in which other NITs you are eligible to apply, use the college predictor tool
