It will be very difficult for you to get into NIT, Durgapur at this rank. You should try government colleges in Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand. I think you may get one there.

State code of eligibility is the state from where you have cleared class 12th, there is not any kind of state rank in JEE Mains, however, you will get some domicile preference in the NITs of your state.

The admission procedure is done through the rank you achieve.
You can check out the various branch wise opening and closing ranks of various nits for previous years to get a rough idea about your possibilities. Presumably a huge difference would not occur.
