NIT Goa JEE Main cutoff 2026 has been released for the first round for admission to the BTech course and its various specialisations. The General AI category candidates need to attain a rank of at least 40592 to be qualified for admission in the first round as per NIT Goa BTech cutoff 2026.
The maximum round 1 cutoff can be seen below for other All India categories.

NIT Goa cutoff 2026 has been released for round 1. The cutoff has been released for admission to BTech courses on the basis of JEE Main results.
The cutoff was announced for different categories belonging to the All India and Home State quotas. For the General AI category, the cutoff ranks varied between 13997 and 40592. The OBC AI category students need to attain a score of 338 or higher to avail admission to this NIT in the third round. The NIT Goa CCMT cutoff 2026 for this category ranged from 338 to 496.

Yes, you can get into NIT Goa with a rank of 25000 if you belong to the General AI category. According to the NIT Goa cutoff 2026, the round 1 cutoff ranged from 13997 to 40592. Hence, you can get admission to a few BTech branches with this rank.
If you belong to the General HS quota, you can even get BTech CSE in the first round. For this category, the round 1 cutoff ranged from 26898 to 78412. See the table below to get an idea of which courses accept your rank.

You can get CSE in GFTI as per the JoSSA counselling cutoff last year. You cannot get any branch, like CSE, ECE in NIT at this rank.

As of now, admissions for the B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering at NIT Goa for the 2025 academic year are not yet open. Admissions will be conducted through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counseling process, which follows the JEE Main 2025 results. The JEE Main Session 2 exams concluded on April 9, 2025, and results are expected by April 17, 2025.
